Welcome to Carpenter Year-Round Elementary School's auction web site. Carpenter is a Michigan public school where the students (K-5) have a shorter summer vacation of five weeks as opposed to the traditional 10 weeks, so learning continues more consistently throughout the year. The traditional school calendar has its roots going back to when children were needed at home during the summer months to help farm the fields. Year round education shortens the long summer vacation so that academic performance is maintained and improved while summer learning loss is reduced.

The Carpenter Parent Teacher Council (PTC) who has been instrumental in supporting educational assemblies, teachers' supplies, and field trips, among many other activities, is proud to sponsor our first fundraising auction. The "Wild" auction will take place on Saturday April 23, 2005 and will feature a live and silent auction, live music, desserts, non-alcoholic drinks, and a 50/50 raffle at the safari themed event. We have assembled an extremely enthusiastic and frugile group of parent volunteers whose primary focus is to maximize the money raised for the school. The planning is starting to shape up into a fun night out for the parents so remember to save the date! Tickets will go on sale to Carpenter families starting on March 1, 2005 and to the general public on March 25. To purchase tickets, you may either print out the ticket order form below and mail it to the school along with payment or purchase tickets using the secure PayPal below.

If you would like to help out Carpenter School by donating an item, service, or money to the auction fundraiser, please fill out the donation form below and send it in to the school. All donors will be acknowledged during the auction as well as in the auction catalog. Businesses that are interested in getting more exposure can also purchase catalog or web page advertisements.
